Google AdWords and SEO

How important is Google Adwords to your business? Very Important. In fact, I’ll go so far as to say that you are not utilizing the potential of your online business fully unless you are using Google Adwords! But, you should harmonize your Google AdWords (paid advertising) with your SEO (Search Engine Optimization / Free listings on Google).

Google Adwords are paid advertisements that appear to the right of Google’s organic (unpaid / organic / natural) search listings. Advertisers select the keywords they wish to have ads for and create text ads to attract visitors to their website. When a visitor clicks on the ad, the visitor is taken to the advertiser’s website and the advertiser pays Google.

Click-Thru-Rates (CTR) is one of the determining factors to a quality score, and to a successful campaign. Writing the best and the most relevant ad copy to achieve clicks is key. The most important part of writing a good Google Adword ad is the headline. Adwords can actually work hand-in-hand with a search engine optimization tool as well as a paid traffic generator. Bring traffic from a Pay-Per-Click advertisement, can definitely help with your organic rankings as well. The trick is to make them work hand in glove, rather than just do SEO or just do AdWords.
