Definition of SEO. What is SEO?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. In layman's terms, SEO is the art and science of organizing your website to get to the top of search queries for Google, Yahoo, Bing or other search engines. There are two big divisions to SEO:
- On Page SEO - these are changes you make to your HTML page tags, website structure, etc. Factors that you directly control on your own website.
- Off Page SEO - these are primarly links to your website from others. But other off page factors exist such as the age of your domain.
