The new book, SEO Warrior, has data on click patterns and eye charts, that argue that about 70% of the clicks from a Google search page accrue to the top three free listings. That said, the advent of blended search - wherein Google mixes Google local, news, and real-time search - has muddied the waters.
Other sources of this data from time to time are ClickZ, and Compete, and what not. Everything I have ever seen suggests a very dramatic difference between the top three free results and everything else. The spoils go to the victors, as it were.
