Keywords embedded in the website domain and in the URL's (file names / directory names) can be very important to SEO. Often in very competitive searches, the pages that get to the top ten include the keyword in their domain name and/or file name.
This isn't the primary factor, however. In-bound links and keyword placement in strategic tags such as the TITLE tag are much more important. You must have all factors working together to succeed in SEO.
