Will Google search all domain extensions for SEO - as in .com, .biz, .info, .edu?

Question: -
Will google search all domain extensions - I own a major city name with a .to extension

Answer: -
Yes, as far as I know, there is no preference. What matters is keyword heavy content, structured appropriately in on page tags, plus inbound high quality links. There is some talk that .edu and .mil inbound links are very valuable, as these websites are highly authoritative. But that becomes chicken end egg - is .edu authoritative because it is an .edu extension, or just because educational institutions by default are authoritative?

I would prefer the standard .com and .org domains for most purposes, just to be safe.

Hope this helps!
