There are several ways to get Google to index a new website. First and foremost, use the Google Webmaster Tools area to upload an XML site map. That is one of the most important ways. Second, use the URL you listed above. This is a minor way, but nonetheless can't hurt. Finally, issue news, syndicate it, and try to get inbound links. News and links are actually the most important tools not only to get your site in the indexed but to give it prominence in its searches.
