Is there a 'best practice' for the TITLE tag and SEO / Google?
Question: -
Q. Is there a “best practice” format when entering data in the meta title that Google reads easily?
Answer: -
The TITLE tag is a meta tag, and the most important tag on any page on your website. Your home page TITLE tag is the most important tag on your entire website.
Rule of thumb: put the keywords you want to dominate in your TITLE tags. Use no more than 7-10 words.
There is a lot more going on here, which we teach in the class on page tags. But basically 7-10 words / your top keywords into your TITLE tags.
Hope this helps!
