Should I repeat my keywords a lot on my blog to show up on Google?
Question: -
Q. We have a question regarding the seminar... If we put key words or a phrase
in every single blog will our key words pop up? For example, "Shamerrific
will wash your car, clean your house or clean faster and easier that
standard cleaning products." So, if a consumer types in "clean" or
"cleaning" in Google will phrases like this help us to have our blog or
website pop up?
Answer: -
There is a lot in this question, which can't be answered in a short answer. Basically, keyword density - how FREQUENTLY a keyword appears on a page is only part of the equation. So certainly, yes, if you want to appear on seraches for "Sham your car" or "clean your car" then repeating those phrases on your website / web pages will help.
A second factor is the relationship between the keywords and the HTML page tags, which we teach in our class on page tags. You need to 'weave' them into your HTML page tags, beginning with the TITLE tag.
Third, is the structure of your website itself, beginning with the home page. Your home page is the most important, so put your keywords on that page first and foremost.
Fourth, inbound links matter a great deal. As we teach in our classes, SEO is a lot like physical fitness: just as many factors work together to make a person physically fit, so many factors work together to propel a page to the top of Google. The educational insight is to understand the relationship between those factors.
If I could explain all this in a few paragraphs, I would be a genius. I am an average man, however, and you can get this information in the 7-session course!
Hope this helps!
