The company that hosts your website is not important. You can hosted pretty much anywhere, although you are looking for a 'clean' and 'fast' host. The major hosting services like Godaddy, etc., are all pretty much the same: plumbing.
The platforms used to create your HTML do matter quite a bit. The best of course is to create with an HTML editor like Dreamweaver or Coffeecup, AND understand what you want in terms of the HTML / SEO. Other editors like Godaddy's website tonight or the Wordpress with the SEO plug in, are OK. None are perfect, and none can reach the level of hand coded HTML / or HTML done with a straight editor like Dreamweaver.
I recommend understanding the HTML output that you want, which is what we teach in our Page Tags session, and then working BACKWARDS to your platform. If you know what you want in life, you can usually figure out how to get it. So with HTML and SEO.
