How do you rate the SEO plug-ins for Wordpress?

SEO for Wordpress does exist. The best known is at -

How would I rate it? It's pretty good - it gets you 80% of the way there. Students have struggled with it in terms of its H1/H2 tag usage in particular. But, that said, it is only a tool and you still really have to have 'in your head' an SEO strategy built on your target keywords. The tool won't help you know your keywords, know how to embed them strategically in your on page tags, nor help you write great SEO friendly content.
That critical 20% has to still come from your own head / skills. So many people are looking for an 'easy way' to SEO. We are the diet industry of the Internet: so many scams, so many quick fixes, when the reality is eat less, exercise more. Our philosophy is to teach you the basics that will get you there, slowly, steadily, but WILL succeed.
So the SEO plug in for Wordpress works great IF you have an intellectual background in SEO to begin with.
