Do keywords matter in the domain for SEO / Google?

Keywords inside the domain are ONE FACTOR that propels a site to the top of a Google search. Not the only factor, not even the most important factor, but definitely in the Google algorithm. The implication is if you want to get to the top of Google AND your company is a one trick pony / very focused, then having a domain that contains your target keywords is a great idea.
