Q: Is it a good idea to set up directories? What is an example of the way landing page files should be named if they are set up within a directory? What about having a completely flat structure? Would this confuse Google if you have a lot of pages?

Q: I have capital letters in my landing pages. I noticed that Google doesn't recognize the names of my landing pages unless they are entered in caps. What is the best way to fix this?

As for your naming convention questions... to make long story short. Name your files, directories, images, EVERYTHING on your website with logical, keyword heavy names. Google uses the URL's, directories, etc., to 'figure out' what your site is about.
Shallow or flat structures are better, as Google interprets higher levels as 'more important.'
As for your link question, getting links from professional organizations is OK. The paid links that really annoy Google are from heavy duty link farms, and really push the limit of what is OK. That is really the only way to get de-indexed by Google. But professional organization links would be fine.
