For Google Places / Yelp, how can I encourage customers to review my company?

Question: -
Q: What is the easiest way to encourage customers to write reviews? We are a hotel.

Answer: -
Yelp / Google places are social media. So you are asking your best customers to Yelp you, review you on Google places. The best way - ask. For example, at the end of each stay, give each customer (especially the happy ones) a flyer that has a quick URL to your Google Places page / Yelp page, and asks them to review you.

Technically not in line with the terms of service... But you can incentivize people to review you, by (for example), asking them to review you, and asking them to email you after they have done so. Then check to make sure that they actually reviewed you... and give them a coupon off of a next visit, that sort of thing.

But, basically, the best way is to ASK. Give them a flyer, a follow up email, or something after the service that says, 'Hey, if you liked us, please YELP us... Here's how..'

Hope this helps!
