What are the uses for the H1, H2, H3 tags in SEO?
Question: -
Q: Can you review the difference between and H1, h2 or h3 tag?
Answer: -
The H1, H2, H3 tag family or header family is much beloved by Google, as we have seen in the Google document.
It works like this. The H1 is the biggest font in the family, and indicates LEVEL ONE. The highest header level. The H2 is a step lower, and usually rendered in a smaller font. The H3 is even lower.
Google likes the OUTLINE-like, HIERARCHICAL nature of the Header Tag family. A good rule of thumb is to put the MAIN KEYWORDS / IDEA into the TITLE and H1 tags. Then put just a few key points into H2 tags, and on down the list. That way, Google clearly knows what is the most important concept for SEO purposes on each page.
Hope this helps!
