Is there a limit to the meta keywords character count for SEO?

META keywords cause a lot of confusion. There are three ONLY that matter. First, the TITLE tag is a META KEYWORD. It appears ONLY at the top of the page in the browser, and also governs the HEADLINE on Google. It has a HUGE impact (!!!!!) on whether a page shows up on a Google search, so you MUST get your keywords into your TITLE tags. Second, the META DECRIPTION is a meta tag. It influences the description shown on Google, 90% of the time. It does NOT impact WHETHER you show up on a Google search, just HOW.
Finaly, the META KEYWORDS tag is IGNORED by Google and by Bing. So it doesn't matter what you put in there. No character limit, as it is IGNORED completely. Both have publically indicated this. I use it as a 'note to self' about what a page is targeting. It can't hurt you, but probably does not help you.
Those are the only three META tags that matter for SEO. The TITLE tag limit is 65-69 visible characters; less than 80 indexed. The META DECRIPTION tag is 155 characters. The META KEYWORDS tag is ignored, so in that sense has NO LIMIT.
