Q: do you teach ho
Answer: -
I am not familiar with CLOVER, per se. BUT what Google does care about in terms of on page SEO - is all the same. Google and download the 'Google SEO GUIDE' and make sure to follow the best practices, as I teach in my classes. In that sense, as long as your CMS system is capable of outputting good, SEO-friendly HTML then it doesn't really matter.
Ok, here's the rub... From what I can see CLOVER is an ADOBE flash based web design system. So that means it is TERRIBLE for SEO, as Adobe Flash is NOT SEO friendly. Don't let anyone mislead you otherwise - a pure Adobe FLASH website can NOT outperform more traditional HTML websites, as FLASH is not SEO friendly. NOT AT ALL. So to the extent that all their sites are necessarily FLASH based, DO NOT USE THEM.
If you are still interested in CLOVER, as for references, and REAL sites and compare the real sites in terms of their target keywords against competitive sites. I just did this from their website and all of their example sites ARE TERRIBLE in terms of SEO. So not recommended.
WordPress, in contrast, builds a more traditional HTML site, and can be HTML 5 friendly. Flash is on its way out, and so that's another reason. Sorry Clover for the bad review, but it's the truth: Flash is NOT a good choice for SEO.
Hope this helps!
