Do internal links help or hurt SEO? What is link sculpting?

Q: Does it matter how many internal links you have on your website?
Answer: -
Yes, very very much. INTERNAL links are often called LINK SCULPTING in terms of SEO, and you definitely want to do link sculpting. As I teach in our SEO class on website structure, you first want to make sure that everything important is ONE CLICK from the home page, and that those links are keyword heavy / follow keyword syntax. Second, you want to structure the site navigation also to be keyword heavy and thematic. Third, if you are using WordPress, you want to use your WordPress tags systematically so that they convey to Google the site's keyword themes.
In addition, you want to use proper keyword heavy URL's as well. All of this is explained in my class on Website structure for search engine optimization, and it is very very important for SEO success.
