Does the ALT attribute or TITLE attribute help for image search optimization?

Question Does the ALT attribute or TITLE attribute help for image search optimization?
Q: you said you don't need alt attribute for all pics but does it help?

Answer: -
There is a little confusion in this group with respect to this. The ALT attribute is VERY important for SEO. You want as least ONE image per page and put keywords in the ALT attribute of that image. The TITLE attribute, however, is NOT very important.

So, yes images help with SEO but only in the sense of the ALT attribute.

Hope this helps!
