Twitter Header Image (Photo) – How to Change Dimension and Size – Blog Post

Twitter has made some fun new changes to how to set up your account on Twitter, namely the new ‘Twitter Header Image.’ Ryan Seacrest was one of the first to switch over to the new Twitter format, but I doubt that Ryan actually did his Twitter account change himself. Does Ryan Seacrest know how to change his Twitter Header Image or Photo? Does Ryan know the dimensions and size? I doubt it; he’s much too important for such Twitter trivialities.

Image Size and Dimensions for the New Twitter Header Image

Twitter hasn’t been very clear about this. 520×260 is a good size the new Twitter Header Image, but remember Twitter will take your ‘profile picture’ and place it smack dab in the middle. Ryan does this by cutting off his head… and then re-attaching it oh so cool into his picture. So you can do something cool like that. One tip – using FIREFOX you can RIGHT CLICK and then select VIEW IMAGE or VIEW BACKGROUND image to see and download images you like. Then just photoshop OUT their image and photoshop IN your image, and you are good to go.
