As they used to say back in High School, “It has come to our attention…” that… Well, “it has come to our attention that many of you, or at least some of you, are searching for the ‘SEO Fitness Workbook‘ in PDF format.” Especially the 2016 edition in the Adobe PDF format.
Let’s talk about that. Let’s talk about why you either a) are in the wrong place, or b) you don’t want it in the PDF version (well, at least not if I think what I suspect about this Google search is implying).
The Wrong Place for a PDF Version?
First of all, are you in the wrong place? If you’ve purchased a copy of the SEO Fitness Workbook, inside the book it clearly indicates how to ‘register’ your copy and then get access to the SEO Toolbook (hundreds of free tools for search engine optimization) and the companion worksheets (printable ‘how to’ or ‘step by step’ documents, to help you and your team work through your SEO process). So, if you have a purchased copy of the book (either in paperback or in the Kindle format), just follow the instructions inside the book. If you have questions, feel free to call us at 800-298-4065 or via email.
You’re Not in the Wrong Place
Second, if you’re not in the wrong place, that means you do not have a purchased copy of the book, and you’re looking for a free copy of the PDF workbook. Let’s think about this.
- Piracy and Copyright. It takes a LOT of work. And I do mean a LOT of work to produce this workbook. It’s not free to produce, my mortgage company doesn’t work for free, and the university that my daughter attends would like their tuition payment in cold, hard cash. To get up on my intellectual property soapbox here, intellectual piracy is theft, plain and simple. So if you’re looking to download a PDF version of the Workbook, you’re looking to steal a copy. OK, as far as it goes. Call us up or send us an email and just say plainly: “Dear Jason. I’m a thief. I’d like a free copy of your workbook because I want to get to the top of Google, and I don’t think I should have to pay for it. I’m shameless, but at least I’m honest.” If you’re that honest, I’ll probably just send you a copy. As a reward for your honesty. But really?
- Viruses and Other Nasties. Or, just go back to Google and look for a PDF copy. We’ve informed the offending websites that they are in violation of copyright laws, and – just so we’re clear – they’re probably going to install viruses, malware, or other forms of spyware on your computer when you attempt to download the PDF version. So good luck with that. You’ve been warned, and I can’t say that we have a lot of sympathy over here.
So, there you go. Looking for a PDF version of the SEO Fitness Workbook 2016 edition? I hope you’ve purchased a copy – in which case, we’re happy to help you out. If not, I hope you’ll reconsider digital piracy and consider, just for a moment, the ethics of it, the possibility of getting a virus or malware, or if you’re a religious person, the extra minutes you’ll be in purgatory or Hell for your act of theft.
Thank you and have a nice day!
